The other apex academic institution – NIPCCD (National Institute for Public Cooperation and Child Development) were the intellectual partners. At the NGO level, QIC&AC – a confederation of about 30 odd NGOs working for child welfare, was represented here by Udayan Care, which took on the leadership role in bringing forth the good Mental Health mana…

In the last 3 years, more than 75,000 Delhi-ites ran the 6 km Great Delhi Run as well 21 kms half marathon, raising more than Rs. 4.5 crores for social organisations.

Udayan Care has raised Rs. 51 lakhs and over 600 people ran for us from 2005 - 2008.

We have to build our 11th Children's home in Dehradun, for which a benevolent donor has given a beautiful piece of land. This Home shall keep 24 kids away from the misery & cruelty of streets and provide them all opportunities to grow into better citizens of tomorrow. Your support at the event 2009 will help to transform the lives of many, many more such innocent lives.

As a part of Teach India initiative, I came in touch with Udayan Care and was assigned to teach at Udayan Ghar at Noida. Ms. Anjana Jain at Udayan Ghar requested me to take Master Ajay, a student of Class IV under my wings. Being with the children at Udayan Ghar has been a very satisfying & learning experience for me and I look forward to continuing my relationship with the children who need our loving care & support . Ms. Anjana Jain, Birendra & Rita at Udayan Ghar, Noida and Udayan Care are doing an excellent job of looking after the disadvataged children.
